I’m a bit confused about the SSID. But as you say, it’s a good idea to read up on whatever you’re thinking of buying before linskys your order. I suppose that’s because I’ve got bit encryption?

User profile for user: I don’t believe Buffalo has ever advertised any of linksjs cards as Mac-compatible, but several other Tibook users have posted here in the past to say their Buffalo cards worked perfectly, using Apple’s own Airport software.

The Windows network setup is a separate but necessary step. Linksys can go to that bad hot place – I will never buy anything from them again. Did you buy a Buffalo card?

Now I can launch the Utility, find a signal and according to the utility get connected. After hours of trying installs, firmware upgrades and various ,inksys of dynamic and static IPs the problem continued.

llnksys May 14, Your best bet if the PC doesn’t do the memorization is to paste the key into a text document on the desktop so you can copy and paste it into the PC connection. But what about the “wireless network name” I gave the network in the Airport setup utility?

They were awful and clueless. As does the box, which I am, on your advice, holding in my hand. Are they set the same as the PC? Since you have a link light it sounds like it is connected. Glad to hear from you on this.
